Young Drivers of Canada offers Advanced Driver Training for:

 

Drivers Involved in Collisions

DDC - (Defensive Driving Course)

The DDC is a 5 hour classroom and 2 hour in car program for drivers involved in a collision and referred by the MTO (Ministry of Transportation Ontario) or the Ontario Courts. 

The DDC explains current driving problems and the solutions that can be applied to remain collision-free.

Included in the course is CogniFit - a scientifically proven way to enhance driving skills through online cognitive assessment and training.  Training sessions take approximately 20 minutes.

A valid licence is needed in order to do the course.  The participant would need to go to the Ministry to get a letter saying that they have a temporary licence issued for the day of the course.

Length: 7 hours

Drivers Who Have Traffic Violations

DIC - (Driver Improvement Course)

The DIC is a 6 hour classroom and 1 hour in car program for drivers with traffic violations and referred by the MTO (Ministry of Transportation Ontario). 

The DIC explains current driving problems and the solutions that can be applied to remain collision-free.

Included in the course is CogniFit - a scientifically proven way to enhance driving skills through online cognitive assessment and training.  Training sessions take approximately 20 minutes.
